SJM organises holds talk on US sanctions
The Swadeshi Jagran Manch organised talk on ‘USA sanctions on Indian exports and its effect on the Indian economy’ in Hanamkonda on 9 September 2025. Delivering his lecture, Ch. V. Sai Prasad, former director of INDT & CEA, emphasised that America is grappling with significant national debt, warning that if this trend continues, the stability of its economy could be jeopardized. He lamented India’s current reliance on foreign products, highlighting a worrying trend where the country, despite its vast resources, has not taken the lead in manufacturing its own goods.
Freelance journalist K. Raka Sudhakar Rao asserted that the United States is making calculated efforts to undermine the economies of India, China, and Russia. He expressed optimism, suggesting that the ongoing tariff conflicts would be manageable.
